Nawaz Khan Jadoon

Political Journey

His Journey in Politics

The Beginning

In 2001, I visited Pakistan amid the hustle-bustle of general elections announced by President General Pervez Musharraf and scheduled for October 2002. I was the only person not just in my family, but in the entire Gadoon Amazai area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who obtained party membership of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI). That membership card is still with me and I’m very proud to have it. No PTI candidate was contesting elections from our constituency but I was telling people that one day Imran Khan will take up the reins of government to put Pakistan on the road to socio-economic development. Earlier, I was a part of the Pakhtun Student Federation (PSF), but when the PTI was formed by Imran Khan, I quit PSF and never joined any other political party except the PTI. I have always been a staunch supporter of Imran Khan and his Shaukat Khanam Cancer Hospital project. Even when I was an MBBS student at Ayub Medical College, I used to convince people to support Imran Khan’s PTI. This was the time when people had no clue that cricketer Imran Khan had also founded a political party.

In 2011, I started attending all the gatherings organized by PTI in the UAE.

In 2014, I officially joined PTI UAE, and was elected the General Secretary of Dubai Chapter.

WHY IMRAN KHAN?

I’m a well-traveled and well-learned person who pursued his higher education and career in the developed part of the world. My foreign exposure made me realize that Pakistan was left behind in the race for development just because it lacked able and honest leadership. Among the so-called political leaders, that have been robbing our resources-rich country for decades, Imran Khan is a ray of hope. In sum, I was inspired by Imran Khan for three simple reasons:

• Firstly, he is a visionary and farsighted person who grasps the problems faced not only by Pakistan but also the entire world in all of their complex dimensions and he demonstrated his comprehension of geo-economics and geo-political issues in his writings, speeches, and interviews.

• Secondly, he is a pragmatic and kindhearted leader who believes in action and wants to heal the nation, and his cancer hospital espouses my notion.

• Thirdly, He is an honest, true believer, and committed person who wants to run Pakistan according to the teachings of Quran and the Holy Prophet (S.A.W). This makes him the one and only political leader in Pakistan whom I can follow without any second thought.

DUBAI EXPO 2020

At the World Expo 2020 hosted by Dubai, I made all-out efforts and helped Hassan Daud Butt, CEO of KPBOIT sign MoUs worth USD 8 billion with foreign investors. KPBOI conferred upon me an award and acknowledged that nearly half MoUs worth USD 4 billion were signed with my direct contacts.

Government Initiatives

During the PTI’s tenure, he presented a wide array of ideas and suggestions to the PTI minister but these are still pending due to concerned authorities from the Government Officials. Here are a few of ideas he discussed with the leadership.

  • Climate Change and Air Pollution

He has the exclusivity of cloud seeding technology for changing the structure of clouds and making it rain in any targeted area at any time. He's in contact with Russian scientists and they have successfully made it rain at targeted places. With their help, my company has been doing cloud seeding in Dubai

  • Flood Control

With the help of exclusive technology, his company can control floods and divert them to any area of our choice. For example, we can divert urban floods in Karachi to Tharparkar.

  • Cannabis Farms

He has invested in cannabis farming in Europe and he has the technology to extract CBD oil and export it, and it is very high in demand for the last several years. He spoke to the PTI ministers and informed them that cannabis farming is legal and we can earn at least USD 8 billion from just one year export. But again, no tangible progress was ever made on this project.

  • Supporting Utility Sector

He is in the position to support the utility sector by providing them with a sufficient amount of gas, water, and electricity. He has signed an agreement with Eighteen to supply gas, and electricity to the housing societies they are building. For gas, he's developing an LPG terminal from which airmixed LPG will be supplied directly to every house in this society.
